Schedule:
Music will run continuously from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. Sets will be an hour each including setup time.
Friday September 4, 2009 North Branch Field Day Gates Open at 9:00 am
Day Admission Price : $15
9:00 am - 4:00 pm Our first North Branch Field Day is a whole day dedicated to field picking, socializing, and old-fashioned fun. We'll have a music contest, puzzle tables, a bake off contest, raffles, photo contest, and more. Cheap prizes galore. Bring your instruments into the concert area and make yourself at home for the day. Join us for our version of an old-fashioned pickin' party...kicked up a notch, North Branch Style.
2:00 pm North Branch Baking Contest. A "Just for fun and Bragging Rights adventure". Divisions are cookies, cakes, pies, candy, open dessert. Make up a bunch of your favorite sweet treats for the crowd to enjoy. The winner of each division receives a prize. "Best of Show" of all divisions receives a premium prize. Blind judging to be done by reknowned pastry chef, Julie Lane and others. One dollar per division entry fee (to cover cost of plates, napkins, and forks) is waived if you enter 3 divisions or more. The crowd gets a free treat when it's over.
4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Open Stage Have you ever wanted to try performing your bluegrass song on a real stage with real sound equipment? Here's your chance to strut your stuff. First to sign up goes on first.
6:00 pm Complimentary Spaghetti Dinner served by North Branch Festival owners Randy and Heather Kennedy. Come and get it!
Saturday September 5, 2009 North Branch Show Day #1 Gates open at 9:00 am

Main Stage Concert Area:
10:00 am - 9:00 pm Enjoy 11 hours of continuous professional performances by some of New England's finest musicians. Enjoy music by: Big Spike, Junior Barber & Beartracks, Crossing North, The Bristol Boys, and more.
Workshop Tent:
Times to be announced. We've got six music workshops going on throughout the day. Feel free to sit in whenever you wish. Workshops will be held in the Workshop Tent up near the treeline north of the concert area. Workshop subjects for Saturday include: Fiddle, Songwriting, Banjo, Bass, Guitar, and Dobro.
Campfire Stage Tent:
The Campfire Stage Tent is located up along the treeline to the north of the concert area, past the workshop tent.
Time to be announced. "Dave Clark and Jukejoynt" perform a variety of musical genres to entertain children for two hours. Their fresh style makes little festivalgoers feel right at home. A great place for kids to meet weekend playmates. A supervising adult must accompany each child please.
